Fog

Carl Sandburg's brief, classic poem personifying fog as a cat is here rendered by Zack Rock as a giant but friendly feline. As it prowls across the Golden Gate Bridge and through San Francisco, the cat engages in typical catlike behaviours, seemingly impervious to anyone or anything--as cats and fog are wont to do. American poet Carl Sandburg (1878-1967) was perhaps best known for his free-verse style reminiscent of Walt Whitman and for his monumental biography of Abraham Lincoln. After moving to Chicago in the 1910s, he began publishing the poetry collections that would make him famous and later branched out into collections of American folklore and children's books.
